An investigation in regard to verbal abuse and beating of students is being investigated, However the students themselves say that the locals were verbally and physically insulting them on racial grounds and demanded to leave the country.

According to them, the policemen who came to the site "advised to forget the incident".

"Friends were playing football , it was about six o"clock of the evening. We always play at municipal stadium on Beliashvili Street . We were asked to leave the field , we offered to play together. They refused to do so. We were told to leave the area within 5 minutes . They told us to leave not only the stadium, but the country as well . As a the situation tensed, we called the police, and before we made a video of the confrontation and showed it to police officers," -said one of the students.
