Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality has introduced the Prime Minister"s Peace Initiative -" Step for a Better Future " to representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations.

The package of legislative amendments, which will be presented to the parliament by the government envisages three main directions, including encouraging trade across the dividing lines.

The State Minister said that the initiative"s goal is to improve the humanitarian and social conditions of the population living in the occupied Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region.
