"I would like to thank every policeman who participated in this event because till now no one could give an example of using excessive power," said Giorgi Gakharia while speaking in the parliament.

The Minister of Internal Affairs delivers a speech at the legislative body. He speaks about a special operation in nightclubs on May 12.

"If we have similar examples, we will react to them," said Mr. Gakharia

"We believe that we acted correctly and in accordance with the rights of our citizens," he said.
