A husband and a wife were arrested in Zugdidi for kidnapping a child. Neighbors say that the family of the kidnapped child had a debt of the married couple and they came to the family to solve this problem.

They were met on the spot by grandfather and grandchild, neighbors said that the child was taken with the permission of grandfather and was soon brought back.

According to locals, the family, that does not want to return the debt, used the accident and appealed to the Prosecutor"s Office.

Two persons were detained on the charge of taking hostage.
