Murder of teenagers and demand of resignation of Tsulukiani - MPs approved parliamentary investigative commission on the background of acute debates

The parliamentary investigative commission will start working for the first time in the history of "Georgian Dream", which will determine details of the murder case on Khorava Street. The legislative body has expressed support for the initiative of the "European Georgia".

The issue of creation of the commission before voting and the development of events around the murder of teenagers became the cause of acute debate and confrontation in the session hall.

The National Movement demanded Tea Tsulukiani"s resignation from the parliamentary tribune. The party says that political responsibility for systematic problems lies with the Minister of Justice and she should leave the post. The parliamentary majority defended the minister of justice in the session hall.

The "National Movement" did not support creation of an investigative commission. According to the party, "Georgian Dream" has eased the political crisis by creating a commission.

"National Movement" were also criticized along with the ruling party because of this position by their ex-teammates. "European Georgia" reminded them of their political responsibility and accused them of unconstructiveness.

Several MPs of the Georgian Dream have also expressed distrust to the parliamentary investigative commission today. According to Davit Chichinadze, the Commission will not be able to have the public trust under the guidance of "European Georgia". Chairman of the Faction of the Greens blames his teammates in open promoting of "European Georgia".

The Temporary Parliamentary Investigation Commission will hold the first session tomorrow. In the capacity of the chairperson of the commission Sergi Kapanadze has already announced that all the persons involved in the murder case in Khorava street will be summoned to parliament.
