A car convoy has already started moving from Samegrelo to the rally at Rustaveli Avenue today. The population from nine districts of Samegrelo is heading to the rally in support of Saralidze . According to the local organization of the National Movement, the government has done everything to prevent the locals from going to Tbilisi , but people will still express their protest today at the Parliament.

"Throughout the two days the authorities have used all kinds of administrative resources to prevent the citizens from attending the rally and were telling them that if they went to the rally, they would lose their jobs," said Ana Tsitlidze, chairperson of the faction "United National Movement" of Zugdidi Municipality Sakrebulo.
