Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze left for the village of Chuberi.

The Prime Minister will get familiar with the ongoing works and the current situation in order to eliminate the results of the disaster, as well as the needs of the population.

In the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, all relevant agencies and services are involved in the liquidation works of the flooding of the river Nenskra in the village of Chuberi. The headquarters has held the first meeting. The deputy ministers and ministers are also on the spot.

Representative of the Party and representatives of local government are in the village of Chuberi. Additional rescue teams and techniques are mobilized from the nearest locations. In case of need, evacuation of the inhabitants of Chuberi will be carried out.

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department and Emergency Situation Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs control the situation.

According to the forecasters, at about 17:00 a lot of rainfall is expected in Svaneti. Employees of the Emergency Service are ready to evacuate the population in case of need.
