Rainy weather is expected in Svaneti . Reportedly the disaster may be repeated. However, Giorgi Mghebrishvili, the Head of Emergency Situations Management Department states that accordig to the monitoring results, there is no risk of repeating the disaster.

According to Mgebrishvili, the population has already been evacuated from high risk zones .

"The population is safe. The main thing is that we do not have victims and we have timely responded and rescued people from high risk zone.

We will assess the situation on the ground and act accordingly, "said Mgebrishvili.

The relevant services try to clean the roads from today.
