"Salome Zurabichvili will be more independent than Margvelashvili," the statement was made by Giorgi Gachechiladze, the chairperson of the parliamentary faction Georgian Dream - Greens, regarding Salome Zourabichvili"s participation in the presidential elections.

Giorgi Gachechiladze states that if Salome Zourabichvili becomes president, she will fully satisfy the Constitutional requirements.

"The constitution directly demands the president to be a non-partisan, independent and balanced figure and this option is not bad but I think that the ruling party should have its own candidate," Giorgi Gachechiladze said.
