The deadline for submitting a report on Georgia in the European Parliament expires within hours.
It is already known that two main and critical remarks will be included in the document where the processes in Georgia are discussed-the government"s pressure on Rustavi 2 and Bidzina Ivanishvili"s informal governance.
Before the deadline, the European lawmakers met two presidential candidates. Grigol Vashadze and Davit Bakradze informed them about the processes that hinder the country"s democratic development. Among them are informal governance, pressure on media and collapse in the court system.
The presidential candidate of the United Opposition had the meeting with the representatives of the NATO member states. The main topic of the conversation was Georgia"s NATO integration.
