The case concerns illegal violations by several persons against Omega.

According to Iberia TV, the famous law firm, Philip Fischer, has already sent a letter to former sports minister Levan Kipiani.

General Manager of Omega Group, Levan Aghdgomelashvili notes that in addition to Levan Kipiani, other surnames are named in the notification addressed by the law firm. However, there no other surname except Kipiani have been named yet.

Levan Aghdgomelashvili also commented on the statement of the Finance Minister who said that the company in Omega Group was offered to pay taxes for the OGT tax liabilities.

According to Agdgomelashvili, this statement of the minister is unsubstantiated.

"The statement of the Minister of Finance yesterday was absolutely undocumented. He mentioned the suggestion - a schedule that was much better than restructuring. This is a lie because the restructuring takes into account the freeze of fines for a certain period. Any other schedule did not involve freezing of fines and any of the things that should be paid to them would be increased, "said Levan Aghdgomelashvili.
