The registration deadline for presidential candidates has expired. The registration of candidates by the initiative groups and political parties was suspended at 6 pm at the Central Election Commission.

According to the latest data, 46 candidates have expressed their desire to participate in the presidential election.

Submission of signatures to the Central Election Administration will be discontinued 40 days before the elections.

"According to the legislation, the collection of signatures begins after applying. Signatures in the Central Election Commission shall be submitted no later than the 40th day before the Election Day, which is September 18.
