Grigol Vashadze, the presidential candidate of the United Opposition responds to the decision of the ruling team regarding the support of Salome Zurabishvili in the presidential elections.

According to Grigol Vashadze, the decision of the ruling party was expected and her victory would undermine Georgia"s international reputation.

"The issue is what can she give to Georgian people and I will tell you what it will be. People will not trust democracy, it will give people a degree of mistrust to the political class and state institutions and our allies will doubt the quality of democracy in Georgia, this is a tragedy, "Grigol Vashadze said.

According to Vashadze, if Salome Zourabichvili becomes president, the international image of the country will be damaged.
