Production of cannabis and cannabis family plants require certain agronomic knowledge - said the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Levan Davitashvili.

According to him, in countries where it is legally allowed to produce herbaceous plants, it happens according to special conditions.

The Government of Georgia has already started to discuss marijuana cultivation. The Prime Minister said at today"s government session, the regulations concerning marijuana consumption, planting, export and medical use.

According to Giorgi Kobulia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the Government of Georgia has followed experience and practice of European advanced countries.

Ivane Machavariani, the Finance Minister of Georgia says that the export of marijuana will bring a solid income.

" I do not rule out that marijuana will top the export list soon," said Machavariani.
