By 2020 the rule of passing the national exams is changing - the Minister of Education presented the 5-point reform with the Prime Minister at the Ikalto monastery complex.

According to Mikheil Batiashvili, together with international partners the existing examination system will be evaluated and will be renewed by 2020.

"One of the key components that we think will be renewed and renewed by 2020 is the unified national exams that will be evaluated until 2020, how efficient it is and what we want to get in the future, so I think that by 2020 Entrants will be given the opportunity totake exams by renewed system, but we do not want to hurry regarding what should be in this system, "- said the Minister.

According to the Minister, education reform deals with early and pre-school education, general education, vocational, higher education and science.

According to Mikheil Batiashvili, the main focus will be on the quality of education and the payroll policy for teachers.
