Former ambassador to Italy, Konstantin Gabashvili criticizes the statement of the independent presidential candidate Salome Zurabishvili in which she accused the Georgian side of launching the war and emphasized that the embassies did not do anything.
Konstantine Gabashvili says that these statements of Zurabishvili serve Russian interests.
"The arrival of six presidents, followed by two more urgent arrivals of other PMs and foreign ministers, all these was the result of the work of the embassies. It is simply insulting the system that she no longer headed at that time. This is as well as a statement about the Georgian army, completely harmful and treacherous, "Konstantine Gabashvili said.
The Georgian Diplomatic Club has also released a statement where Zurabishvili"s statements about the war are criticized.
Diplomats call Zourabichvili"s definition "harmful" and say that she has ioffended two significant institutions of the state - the Georgian army and Georgian diplomacy, with unjust and brutal insults.
