Members of the PACE Monitoring Committee visit the occupation line


Members of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe have visited the occupation line today .

In the village of Didi Khurvaleti in Gori district they were informed about the situation on the ground due to occupation.

They met and talked with the local population.

Sopho Katsarava, Chairperson of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament, said that the visit of the PACE Monitoring Committee members to the occupation line is important for the country as it will be reflected later in the resolutions.

According to a member of the PACE Monitoring Committee, occupation of the territory of the country contradicts the norms of international law.
