"Former and current officials extort millions of dollars from the company and business," said Irakli Abesadze, member of "European Georgia" at the Plenary Session of Parliament on the case of Iberia TV.

Opposition representative spoke about the pressure of high officials on business.

Irakli Abesadze made this statement after Nato Chkheidze, founder of "Iberia" left the Patriot`s Alliance.

"We see current and former high-ranking officials, Ivanishvili"s relatives, using party or Ivanishvili name, using state institutions, racket the business and extort money. Omega Group"s case is a very clear example of it, "- said Irakli Abesadze.
