The Kutaisi DEC has been left by the members of "National Movement" and "European Georgia" in protest. The reason for the boycott is the appointment by the Georgian Dream of their family members and relatives in the commission. The statement was made by the representative of the United Opposition "Strength is in Unity". Lasha Shalamberidze argues that these people close to the government worked at the DEC during previous elections but they received comments and warnings due to improper work. The opposition is shocked that the Commission will only take political decisions in favor of "Georgian Dream".
