US-Georgia cooperation, bilateral economic ties and future prospects - these were the topics discussed by the Prime Minister of Georgia and the US Secretary of State at the meeting.
The parties discussed opportunities to develop trade-economic relations between partners.
The main point of the meeting was the situation on the occupied territories.
State Secretary Mike Pompey hosted Prime Minister Bakhtadze at the US Department of State.
"We talked about the acute challenges we have in Georgia, due to the occupation carried out by the Russian Federation. We talked about the main directions where we have resources and political will to deepen our relationships. This is the essence of our relations in security and at the same time our relationships in the economy, "Mamuka Bakhtadze said.
