Rose Gottemoeller , the Deputy Secretary General of NATO pays an official visit to Georgia. She has already held the first meeting at the Foreign Ministry, where she met with Davit Dondua, the  Deputy Minister .   

After the meeting, the Deputy Minister spoke about the importance of the visit of the NATO Deputy Secretary General and discussed topics.

" She underlined that Georgia has all practical mechanisms for the NATO membership, " - said David Dondua, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia

Speaking at a joint news conference, the Deputy Secretary of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization underlined that Georgia-NATO relations are developing and this was confirmed by the NATO member countries in July."We call on Georgia to continue the chosen course because Georgia  will become a NATO member. The NATO fully supports Georgia"s territorial integrity and sovereignty, we call on Russia to withdraw its troops from the territory of your country, "said Rose Gottemoeller.
