The special commission may discuss the possibility of release of Vano Merabishvili from prison. The Commission will consider this issue in case the Penitentiary Institution or Attorney addresses the agency.

Tengiz Shakarashvili, the acting head of legal department does not rule out that the commission will discuss the former premier"s early release if the medical documents of Merabishvili"s health are presented.

The Commission has already discussed Vano Merabishvili"s case several times, but former Interior Minister has refused to release.
