The government plans to introduce new articles in the electoral legislation that will put the parties in unequal conditions - opposition said.
Opponents of the government point out the signs of the violation of freedom of opinion and expression.
"Practically electoral legislation has been made under the dictatorship of the "Georgian Dream," - "United National Movement."
According to one of the leaders of "European Georgia," Otar Kakhidze, the package of changes proposed by the ruling team has problems that should be discussed.
"The main message we have for Ivanishvili is that his power is going to fail. We must ensure that it will be replaced by democratic elections. These elections will be prominent in this regard. We will try to persuade the authorities to improve the electoral environment,” - Otar Kakhidze said.
Funding, advertising time, staffing of the CEC, this is a list of issues MP Eka Beselia considers important in the process of electoral legislation changes. She said it was especially important for the CEC to be staffed without the majority of "Georgian Dream" representatives in it.
"It is also a matter of principle that the ruling party does not have full dominance in the Central Election Commission. There is no record about blocks. There are a number of key recommendations that the OSCE and the Council of Europe have, and sharing of these recommendations will be important,” - Beselia said.
