A mine worker has died in the western Georgian region of Chiatura. The tragic accident happened at the Darkveti mine at around 10 pm, claiming the life of Gaga Botchorishvili, 29.
Georgian Manganese has released a statement regarding the incident. According to the company, the exact cause of employee’s death is not known at this time.
"We express our condolences and to the family and relatives of the deceased", - the company said in a statement.
The Interior Ministry has launched an investigation to reveal the exact reason behind his death.
