The EU ambassador hopes that Anaklia port project will be implemented. According to Carl Hartzel, despite the distrust of representatives of different parties, this project will not be endangered.

“I hope that this project will be implemented, because despite the distrust of the sides in one another, they all want the project to move forward… Anaklia is a very strategic project for the EU. It is clear that it is part of strategic infrastructure here in Georgia and we are keen to see the developments moving forward. Despite the fact that the sides lack trust between themselves, it is common determination to move ahead with the Anaklia project and this should be the starting point", - said the EU ambassador.
