Troops of the so-called Armed Forces of the Tskhinvali occupation regime were taken to the combat regime for training purposes. The so-called Defense Minister of the occupation regime, Ibragim Gassiev, issued the order.

"The transition was made in order to check the readiness of the military administration for functioning in various operational and tactical conditions, to create the conditions closest to the combat situation, to divert officers and service officers to the military training ground", - the occupation regime said in a statement.

The units and services will be deployed on the battlefield, where they will "perform combat-training tasks".
