Salome Zourabichvili sent a letter of condolence to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky over Ukrainian plane crash. On behalf of the Georgian people, the President extended condolences to him and to the families of the victims.

“I would like to express my deepest sorrow upon the recent tragedy. Today, we all mourn and grieve together over the people who died in a plane crash.

The Georgian people and I fully share this pain.  Now, we wholeheartedly stand with the families of the deceased and express our condolences for their irreparable loss. I wish you endurance and strength to overcome this tragedy with dignity”, - reads the letter.
