Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one person for murdering policeman

Police foreign citizen H.D. (DoB 1989) in Gori for premeditated murder of police officer. Committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that detainee, who rented the apartment from D.S. (DoB 1978) inflicted lethal injury with a cold steel to D.S. and abandoned the place of crime.

The wounded person died before he was transferred to the hospital.

Police managed to detain the offender several hours later, as a result of immediate activities. The weapon of crime - knife has been seized by police as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, crime envisaged under the article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
