US Vice President Kamala Harris said that Russia may face new sanctions due to the situation in Ukraine.

According to her, the United States is ready to impose anti-Russian sanctions in the event of a “Russian invasion of Ukraine”.

“We are working with our allies on this issue and we have made it very clear that we are ready to impose sanctions like you have not seen before”, - Harris said on the air on CBS.

She added that Washington supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
