The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Georgian Parliament, was appointed to lead a short term observer mission of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe for presidential and parliamentary elections in North Macedonia.

“Honoured to be appointed by OSCE Chairperson-in-Office as the Special Co-ordinator to lead the international election observation mission of OSCE PA, ODIHR, PACE and European Parliament to North Macedonia’s presidential and parliamentary elections”, - writes Nikoloz Samkharadze.

He will also deliver a post-election preliminary statement in his capacity. The MP said he was “honoured” by the appointment.
