Share of persons receiving a monthly salary of more than GEL 2,400 raised up

In May 2022, the share of persons receiving a monthly salary up to 600 GEL amounted to 24.3%, which was 5.3 percentage points less than the corresponding period of 2021, and 8 percentage points lower than the corresponding period of 2020, reads the report of PMCG.

In May 2022, the share of persons receiving a monthly salary of more than 2,400 GEL amounted to 16.7%, which was 4.3 percentage points more compared to the corresponding period of 2021, and 5.9 percentage points higher than the corresponding period of 2020.

In May 2022, the number of persons receiving a monthly salary higher than 9,600 GEL, increased by 42% compared to 2021 and 96% compared to 2020. The share of persons receiving a monthly salary of more than 9,600 GEL amounted to 1.4% in May 2022.
