Russia demands that the United States issue visas to the Russian delegation headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov for their participation in the UN General Assembly in New York.

This was stated by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the USA, Anatoliy Antonov.

“We can say with confidence that we would like to see Sergey Lavrov at the UN General Assembly. In recent years, the USA has allegedly created difficulties with business trips of Russian diplomats more than once.

The embassy has already turned to the White House, the State Department with a demand… to immediately issue visas to the minister and all members of the Russian delegation”, - said the Russian ambassador.
