The President of Georgia echoed the Russian shelling of the train station in Chaplyne on Ukraine’s Independence Day, August 24.

“Shocked and saddened by the Russian strike on a train station in Chaplyne, Ukraine. A terrible attack, a barbaric show of violence against peaceful civilians, on Ukraine’s Independence Day.

I mourn the tragic loss of life. Georgia stands with the Ukrainian nation”, - tweeted Salome Zourabichvili.
