Masatsugu Asakawa, the President of the Asian Development Bank, arrived in Georgia, on his first official visit to the country, to participate in the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation Forum.

Asakawa will address the CAREC Forum, hosted in Tbilisi, and will meet with the members of the Government’s economic team.

As part of his visit to the country, the ADB President will get acquainted with the organisational work of the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank, scheduled to take place in Tbilisi between May 2 and 5, 2024.
