The Committee discussed in an expedited manner the Draft Defense Code for the II reading.

The reporter, Deputy Defense Minister, Grigol Giorgadze introduced the amendments and modifications introduced after the I reading.

As he elucidated, the draft amendments envisage a new approach to the conscription for the students studying online, acceleration of the appeal terms of the decision on the conscription, and regulates the procedures of extension of the service for the conscripts in case of a birth of a child, and granting the military titles.

The Committee endorsed the Draft.
