The Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Georgia is celebrating Christmas.

The service in the Evangelical-Baptist Church commenced at midnight. Metropolitan Malkhaz Songhulashvili conducted the service in the church on Kedia street in Tbilisi. He read part of the Nativity of Christ from the Gospel to the gathered.

During the liturgy, Christmas carols were sung in 17 languages.
