From Monday, January 1, 2024, the electricity consumer tariff will be reduced in Georgia. As David Narmania, the Chairman of the Georgian National Energy And Water Supply Regulatory Commission [GNERC], said today, there are both legal and economic grounds for reducing the tariff.
Thus, the GNERC, at the current session, supported the reduction of both domestic and non-domestic electricity tariffs for Tbilisi residents by 3 Tetri.
The new tariffs are as follows: Up to 101 kilowatts: 15 Tetri, 101 to 301 kilowatts: 19 Tetri; Over 301 kilowatts: 23.5 Tetri.
