Four shopping centers of Batumi were evacuated

Cynologists were working at 4 shopping centers in Batumi, Adjara.

Grand Mall, Metro City, Batumi Mall and Plaza, which have been fully evacuated.

According to the employees at the shopping centers, the police officers showed up on the territory at around 17:30, the work in all 4 shopping centers of Batumi is suspended and the buildings are surrounded by yellow tape, where entry is prohibited.

Besides, deminers were mobilized at the Batumi International Airport. TAV Georgia [company, operating the Tbilisi and Batumi International airports], said it received a call about danger and carried out relevant procedures.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not issued an official statement yet.
