The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Meline Arakelian.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of fruitful cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of two countries.
The Minister of Internal Affairs emphasized the pivotal role of police attaches in boosting bilateral cooperation. The Minister positively assessed the Netherland’s decision to appoint a police attache in Georgia, who commenced his activities in 2023.
The parties also addressed the necessity of preserving effective cooperation between two countries in the future, outlining plans for further developing their relations.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister wished success to the Ambassador in her future professional activities, expressing hope for the joint efforts to expand collaborative relations in various directions.
