The Prime Minister of Georgia expresses his condolences over the death of alpinist Archil Badriashvili.

“I express my sorrow over the death of alpinist Archil Badriashvili. Archil was a top-class mountain climber who, together with two teammates, won the most prestigious sports award in Georgian mountaineering history - the Golden Axe.

I extend my condolences to Archil Badriashvili’s family members, friends, loved ones, and colleagues”, - writes Irakli Kobakhidze.
