The Prime Minister of Georgia responds to the statement of United National Movement that 14 billion allocated to Georgia from Europe are frozen.

“USD 14 billion does not exist anywhere. If we take an EU member state of our size in terms of economy, annual support amounts to about USD 500 million. USD 14 billion does not exist anywhere, no one received such help. So this is another lie they are spreading.

At first they spread another false promise – EUR 500 pension, which was also a common lie. It was such a blatant lie that they took that promise back within a few days. The increase in the pension is completely depend on the growth of the economy. Anyone who knows a little about economics can agree with us that the EUR 500 pension is a common lie that they have been feeding the public.

With such lies, these people will not be able to pass the background. We will be the only political force in these elections that will offer the public both ambitious and feasible promises and plans.

The public will see this on October 1, when our political force will present its election program”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.

The UNM declares that the Georgian Dream blocks 14 billion, which Georgia should receive from European funds and help the country in economic development.
