The US Embassy in Georgia has clarified that the United States has not imposed financial sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili or his family members.

This statement was reported by the Radio Liberty, which referenced the Embassy’s response.

“The US has not imposed financial sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili or his family members. The US Treasury Department publicly publishes all financial sanctions”, - says the Embassy.
