“One thing is important for us - as soon as the war in Ukraine ends, and we think it will happen next year, the relations with the EU and the US will be reset. Consequently, no one will remember such unjust resolutions. Georgia-EU and Georgia-US relations should definitely be overloaded. I think that as soon as the war in Ukraine ends, we will immediately see countermeasures from the structures of the European Union and America.

As of the possible imposition of sanctions, this is not an urgent issue. As soon as the war in Ukraine ends, we will have a completely different situation as a result.

Therefore, I would not pay particular attention to temporary events, such as, for example, the resolution of the European Parliament. Our principle and strategic task is to restart relations, and this will definitely happen next year. The war in Ukraine is preventing, not in the middle, but in the head. This is the main reason why specific forces have different interests towards Georgia. As soon as the first front ends, the second front’s interest in Georgia will end immediately.
