The Honorary Chairman of the Georgian Dream, highlighted the special pre-election environment ahead of the October 26 parliamentary elections, recalling a positive assessment provided by the OSCE/ODIHR.

In his interview with Imedi TV, Bidzina Ivanishvili noted that certain officials and bureaucrats, who were coordinating with the opposition, were trying to create a “sad reality” in Georgia.

“They are trying to create a sad reality, among them, certain officials from our friendly countries, certain bureaucrats are in coordination and correlation with the opposition spectrum, but what I want to highlight is that we, the Georgian Dream and Georgian people, already have a lot of experience.

I will tell you in advance that nothing will happen, the 2nd day of the election will be very quiet, but I will highlight one thing that every day until the end of the war in Ukraine, you can call it the 2nd day, because there will be a very tense political field, there will be a very tense situation geopolitically, and therefore, we have to be very careful”, - said Bidzina Ivanishvili.
