Rally in front of the Parliament - opposition parties demand re-elections in Georgia

The protest rally is underway in front of the Parliament. Representatives of opposition parties demand re-elections in Georgia.

The President addressed the peaceful rally. As it known, Salome Zourabichvili had called for the rally yesterday, rejecting the results of the elections and saying that “nothing can make them legitimate”: “You, the people who gathered here, you have not lost the elections! Your vote was stolen, they tried to steal your future as well. But nobody has the right to do that. And you won’t give anyone the right to do so. I swear I will be with you till the end on this European path, until we reach the Europe’s doors, which is our true reality and future”.

Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the Unity-National Movement, has demanded that the International Election Administration conduct Georgia’s parliamentary elections.

Besides, opposition leaders called on demonstrators outside Parliament to send evidence of alleged election irregularities.
