“The election administration continues to actively engage with international organizations. Since October 26, we have held numerous meetings with international and diplomatic representatives to provide verified information on the administration’s activities and current issues. Following every election, the administration reviews reports released by the international organizations. Analyzing and considering this information, where possible, will positively impact the election environment. In today’s meeting, we reviewed the NDI observation mission’s preliminary report, discussed their recommendations and findings in detail. Notably, the organization has positively evaluated several actions taken by the administration on Election Day”, - said Giorgi Kalandarishvili.
The NDI monitored the October 26 parliamentary elections across Georgia. The organization’s representatives thanked the election administration for its proactive cooperation. The meeting was held at the CEC, attended by observation mission representatives Natasha Rothchild, Rishi Datta, and Robert Bistritzky.
