Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia together with Kakha Kaladze, Mayor of Tbilisi and Levan Kobiashvili, President of the Georgian Football Federation met with Gianni Infantino, FIFA President.
The meeting focused on the steps taken by the Government of Georgia to promote football in the country.
The discussion covered future plans, including the construction of a new stadium to international standards, which will have a capacity of 70 000 spectators. They also discussed Georgia"s bid to host the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Gianni Infantino, who is visiting Georgia with a delegation, toured facilities built with FIFA funding.
The President of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) presented the Prime Minister of Georgia with a symbolic gift, a FIFA jersey.
