Accordingly, next week, together with the notification of the authority of the Parliament, we will declare confidence in the Government.
As for the procedure for electing the president, the Central Election Commission [CEC] is already involved in the process of holding these elections after the date is set. After the appointment of the date, the CEC forms an electoral college consisting of 300 members, among these 300 members are all 150 members of the parliament, and the other half is formed from twenty members of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, 21 members of the Supreme Council of Adjara, the remaining 109 members are already formed from representatives of the self-government, In accordance with the proportion obtained in the elections in 2021.
