The demonstrators of the protest rally were pushed from the Parliament area towards the Opera and the Republic Square.

Rustaveli Avenue has been cleared of protesters by police.

Part of the protesters retreated to Chavchavadze Avenue, closing it to traffic. They call on people not to go work, but instead come to join them.

Police have used water cannons and tear gas to disperse protesters around the parliament. Before that, protesters were throwing plastic bottles and fireworks at riot police behind the Parliament building.
