President-elect Mikheil Kavelashvili took the oath of office, formally beginning his tenure as Georgia’s 6th President.
With the swearing-in of Kavelashvili, the term of the outgoing President Salome Zourabichvili has come to an end.
The presidential inauguration ceremony is taking place at the Parliament.
